RATCHET vs. GRIMLOCK
Round 05 » Match 01 » Autobot Championship
Guys. Ratchet beat Optimus Prime. Guys. What is going on? Am I having a stroke? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not sad. I’m just surprised. Ratchet’s a fine character, but I just never remember him standing out to me at all. I always just thought of him as “the medic.” Not a bad character, just ill defined. Am I missing something? Is it because of his recent use in the Bay movies and Animated? Just curious.
Grimlock, on the other hand, is a more predictable competitor. He, of course, roundly stomped Kup into the ground, last week. No senior discount here, apparently.

Ugh. Sorry for the late posting. Blame it on a mix of me not feeling well and Tumblr being its usual shitty self. Last round, Kup just barely defeated Blurr by only one or two votes. Grimlock’s victory over Ultra Magnus was also fairly narrow. I don’t see Kup going any further than this round. PROVE ME WRONG! Or don’t. Whatevs.

Well, this will close out the Autobot portion of round three, and it will also be the last poll that I’ll be posting until Monday. Believe it or not, Grimlock only defeated the Aerialbots by a relatively slim margin. Really? There are that many Aerialbot fans out there? Huh. Ultra Magnus’ win over Perceptor was even closer, but that’s a little bit more understandable.
Anyway, I may still post non-tournament content throughout the weekend, but I may as well give a quick MERRY CHRISTMAS to those of you who will be off making merry for the next few days. Stay safe! Loveyoubyebye!

Back to the tough match-ups! Well, okay, I guess Grimlock is a bit of a shoe-in. I think people forget just how awesome Blaster is, though. He’s a perfect counterpoint to Soundwave. Not that I’m trying to influence the vote or anything. But, you know. Blaster. *stares at you for too long* Oh, I totally like Grimlock too, but only when he’s an aggro asshole. None of that silly crown-wearing nonsense from the comic books.
