Hey! Round two is here! Now you can expect wailing and gnashing of teeth to accompany almost EVERY match-up! Prepare to make more hard choices. I’m going to try to keep up the two-polls-per-day pace for one more round, in hopes of finishing this whole thing up around New Year’s.

This might be the first of a number of difficult choices in the tournament. I mean, Jazz and Sideswipe aren’t duplicates of one another, but they’re definitely cut from the same hip, sporty, too-cool-for-robo-school cloth. I don’t even think I’m going to cast a vote for this one, unless a tie-breaker is needed. Yeah. YOU MAKE ALL THE HARD DECISIONS, OKAY?

I always loved how relatively realistic the G1 transformations were. Look at how Jazz effectively dives into a push-up before bringing it all together. The cartoon had a lot of instances of shoddy, lazy animation, but when they really paid attention and put a noticeable amount of effort into it, they did a pretty great job.
