You know, I’ve never been that big of a fan of Drift. Granted, my exposure to him has been limited, but everything I’ve seen of the character has seemed really… forced. Like he was designed to be the Boba Fett of the Transformers universe, the cool, dangerous character with a shady past and badass weaponry. You can’t force that. And Springer totally had that sword shit covered years ago. But, if the masses want Drift to be victorious, then SO IT SHALL BE.
Also, Jazz vs. Sideswipe got some more votes, but it’s still tied. ARGH. >.< At this point, I might just deactivate it as soon as one of them pulls ahead. It’s the only match-up that’s been super-close so far, and it looks like 20-30 votes is going to be the average for the tournament. But seriously, if you can think of a meaningful tie-breaker, then suggest it!
